Repossessions is a group exhibition inspired by the concept of reparations.

Repossessions is a group exhibition inspired by the concept of reparations: the effort to repair the economic and psychological devastation caused by slavery for descendants of enslaved African Americans. Join Bridget R. Cooks, independent curator, scholar, and professor of African American studies and art history at the University of California, Irvine, as she leads a curatorial tour of this groundbreaking exhibition, which presents the work of five artists commissioned to create artworks based on documents from the enslavement and sharecropping eras.
